Had Genetics Appt

Remy and I went to his genetics appointment - they said my husband didn't need to come if we had pictures. It went well - however once we got to the lab they were unable to get the right amount of blood. I am really hoping they got enough as it was awful and I do not want to put Remy through that again. It will be nice to know if he has Crouzons or not and for this part to be over. Other than all the appointments he is doing so well. Parents as Teachers did his evaluation and he is developing perfectly, he is really coming into his own and is such a happy little guy. I really have the best children and I am so grateful - most of the time I really can't believe how great they are. Hope you all are well. :)

So sorry to hear about your lab visit. I'm a lab tech and draw children every day. Next time you go, explain how Remy has been traumatized before by lab draws and ask for whomever has the most experience with children or babies. Hydrate the child, lots of liquids and keep the child warm before and during the draw, as dehydration and being cold can make veins disappear!
