1 year today!

One year ago...Joseph had just had a craniectomy. Joe (Dad) had left to go home to be with our daughter. I was sitting in the PICU - just me and him in the middle of the night - sure that Joseph was the only one to ever have had this. How was such a little guy to persevere through such trauma to his little head?

Well he did! And man does it amaze me...every day. I owe most of the sanity I have left :icon_mrgr to the parents here. You taught me that Joseph is not alone. And that a lot of parents feel the same. What a great message.

We are celebrating today in a big way!! One year baby! Thank you all for helping us not only survive this but helping us to help him thrive!

Wow - I SO agree! I feel like this was the REAL milestone for him! Thanks all for the support! All of our "anniversaries" are really great achievements for our little ones!
