View Full Version : Update on Skylie Rebecca...

Skylie's surgery is still scheduled for Monday the 8th at 2:30pm at Sacred Heart Medical Center Children's Hospital. I just got off the phone with the doctor and they have rescheduled her pre-op appointment for the morning of her surgery instead of this Friday the 5th. This way we don't have to drive the 45 minutes into Spokane twice. Please remember her in your prayers. I am starting to get really nervous about everything. Please pray that we will make it through this without any complications. Thanks for all of your support! =)

SHe will truely amaze you at how well she will do! They are such amazing children. Skylie and your family will be in our prayers. Please keep us posted as to how you are all doing (alot of hospitals have computer rooms w/ internet access). This weekend I'm sure you'll be feeling a ton of emotions- you will make it through this- it's hard and scary, but once it's over- such a relief!

I found that the week before surgery was very difficult. The waiting is hard. I know Skylie will amaze you. Cranio kids are strong and do so well. I know you hear it time and time again but it is true. Keep us posted as you are able and know that we are praying for you!!

We will be in the same boat on monday. My son's surgery is 8 am monday as well. I will keep skylie in my prayers.

I know you have heard it a million times, but she will truly amaze you. I remember people telling me that all the time and it is so hard to believe, but know it is true.

Good luck on Monday...I will be praying for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Can't wait to hear you have made it to the other side. Hang in there.
