Miriam didgreat today. Her surgeon was running 2 hours behind and she was so patient with us. She couldn't eat after 7:15 am and they didn't get her in until 3:30. After they got us in it only took 45 minutes. We were out of the hospital by 5:15.
She did wonderful. Dr. Dries said everything went well. We have to go and see him in around the first on January again. I am hopeful that we won't have to have another one.
She is doing fine now. The minute we got home she started to play and be herself again. She seems to be doing fine with the pain. She was so tired when we got home she has sleep, because she didn't get a nap at all.
I thought you would all want to know how she did. Thanks for all th support.

lucas goes on jan 9 to the ophthalmologist for his follow-up.
they believe he'll need an eye muscle surgery too.
