He goes to get fitted in 2 weeks. I need the info on the helmet decorating stickers you guys all use. I love them all!
Ideas are welcome as well.

There are lots of tips for decorating, but I just went to Michael's (hobby store, I don't know if they are nation wide?) and got scrapbooking stickers. I used some super glue for the letters I used to spell her name because they are sort of raised and needed to be stuck down really good or my hair would get caught in them and rip them off. For the others I just painted over them with clear nail polish and haven't had any issues. I think there are a lot of different helmet companies that make different types of helmets so I'd suggest waiting until you get your finished product before you buy anything. That way you can take the helmet with you to the hobby store when your picking stickers out and see how they look on it and what size you'll need. Good luck! I can't wait to see pics of the finished product.

I, like Tessa used scrapbook stickers. I love them. I also used Coree Adams at Soft Spoken designs. She made the decals for me and had them shipped so quickly. Can't wait to see your decorated helmet pics. Take care

My son did not wear a helmet so sorry I dont have any advice there.
Did the doctors recommend a helmet or did you request one? How is Joseph is doing... I am sure he is almost back to his old self.. Hope all is well.

I got vinyl! I heard a lot about paint being messy and stickers peeling (and I am OCD), so I got the vinyl. It lasted the 2 months we had it on, and it would have lasted even longer. :)

Avery's new PT asked us yesterday if we wanted her to get one also. Since his balalnce is not good and he cracked his head on the floor a couple time while she was there I guess she felt it might be a good idea.
We have those pads/mats like you can get at Walmart down for him to play on since we have hardwood floors and they are pretty cushy but still, he does fall over a lot. lol

We asked the NS about the PT's suggestion for a helmet on Friday and he said "Oh no please don't"......so no helmet for Avery. *shrug*
