I don't know what they are called but have any of your kids had the ear tubes placed during surgery? Joseph has to get that done and we decided to do it all at the same time; what would you guys do?:confused

We had it done at the same time as the CVR. one less time to put them under, and it takes all of 5 minutes. If you have the option to do it, do it at the same time. It's a very minor procedure, and even when they have the tubes done alone, the kids are bouncing around that same afternoon.

Avery has had two sets of tubes but they were done during his cleft lip/palate surgeries. If you can have them done simultaneously go for it! One less time under anesthesia!

i would say go for it too... my nephew needed them early on and my brother and sil decided not to and his hearing was really effected. he now has speech problems because they waited too long.
